2048 Hacked is the 2048 game with the rules bent in your favour. Take back any move with Undo, choose what the next tile will be, or switch on Edit tiles and place any tile you like anywhere on the board. The 2048 hacks
- 2048 undo. Press Undo, or the Z key, to take back your last move. You can go back up to 200 moves.
- Next tile. Pick “Always 2” for an easier game, or “Always 64” to fill the board with big tiles fast. “Random” uses the original odds.
- Edit tiles. Turn it on, choose a tile from the palette, and tap any cell to place it. Choose Empty to clear a cell. Your score is not changed by edits.
Is there a cheat code for 2048?
The original game has no cheat codes; every version with an undo button or tile editor has changed the rules, just like this one. That is also why scores from this page are not saved as records, and the classic 2048 game stays without undo.
Good uses for the sandbox
Recreate a position that beat you and try every move. Set up a board with a big tile in the corner and practise building a chain toward it. Or place tiles to recreate a tricky endgame and practise it until you find the way out; the 2048 AI can load your Classic game if you want a second opinion on a real board.
