Cat 2048

Cat 2048 is the 2048 game with cats on every tile. When two matching cats touch, they merge into the next cat up: two Ginger Kittens make a Grey Tabby, two Tabbies make a Tuxedo Cat, and so on through eleven cats until you reach the Lion, the cat version of the 2048 tile.

Each cat is worth twice the one before it. The number in the corner shows its value, so you can plan merges without memorising the order.

Tips for reaching the Lion

Keep your best cat in one corner and line up the next cats beside it in order, for example Persian, Sphynx, Maine Coon. Kittens and Tabbies appear all the time, so merge them quickly before they get stuck between two big cats. About these cats

The cats were drawn for this site as simple flat illustrations, one breed per level, so each tile is easy to tell apart at a glance: stripes for the Tabby, a white shirt front for the Tuxedo, patches for the Calico, dark points and blue eyes for the Siamese.
