Alphabet 2048 is the 2048 game played with letters. Two matching letters merge into the next letter of the alphabet: A and A make B, B and B make C, and so on. The goal is K, which stands in for the 2048 tile, which is why some people call this version 2048 ABC. It is the same puzzle with a twist, because you have to remember that each letter is worth double the one before it.

Each letter matches a tile from the number version. The small number in the corner is there if you want it.

Why play with letters?
With numbers, it is easy to see that 64 is close to 128. With letters, F and G look no closer than F and Q, so you have to plan by position instead of by glance. Tips for reaching K
- Keep your highest letter in a corner and line up the next letters beside it: H, G, F, E.
- Say the sequence to yourself. If you have an F and an E next to each other, you need one more E to start a chain.
- New tiles are always A (90% of the time) or B. Clear loose As quickly so they do not block your row.
