2048 with Dogs

This is 2048 with dogs: every tile is a dog, and two matching dogs merge into a bigger breed. Start with a Pug Puppy and work your way up through Dachshunds, Beagles, Corgis and Huskies to the Great Dane with its gold medal, which takes the place of the 2048 tile.

Each breed is worth double the one before. The value in the corner tells you which dogs can merge.

How to raise a Great Dane

Choose a corner for your biggest dog and keep it there. Build a row of breeds that shrink as they move away from it, and use the two directions that push toward your corner as much as you can. About these dogs

The dogs are simple flat drawings made for this site. Each level is a different breed with something you can spot quickly: long floppy ears on the Dachshund, spots on the Dalmatian, a white mask and blue eyes on the Husky, three colours on the Bernese Mountain Dog. The rules match the classic 2048 game, and if you prefer cats there is Cat 2048.
